The Empty Room Session | Hook Session

It’s time for us to move on. As our current music room and those of many others will be gone for good soon, Hook Session will move into a new home. But before we do, we decided to record one last little good-bye session in the now empty room that hosted our countless sessions, band rehearsels and jams over the last years. The song „Am anderen Ufer des Sees“ (On the other side of the lake) was written by Martin, the Hook Session master of recording & mixing, a while ago and tells the story of two lovers, living apart from each other. With it’s melancholic, yet hopeful vibe, we thought it was just the right song to end the great time we spent in this room and look forward to new things. But the song would not be half as beautiful if our friends Gunda (singer & songwriter from Gundalee) and Lui (known from Mount Adige & Friends of Pablo) wouldn’t have joined him to arrange this three-voice piece. Their unique voices and sometimes soft, sometimes daring, but always smooth as f*** harmonies will make your heart melt - we promise! Hook Session will return in October, from a new room and filled with fresh new ideas, music and people. See ya!
