The Essential B2B Martech Stack
According to the latest Martech report, there are nearly 10,000 marketing technology solutions. But which types of solutions should you be considering at each stage of the business lifecycle? When considering Early Stage Startups, you may have a marketing person reporting through sales, or perhaps marketing activities are outsourced to an agency. You are probably focused on making sure you have a minimum viable product and you are focused on attracting your first paying customers. You will need a system to store and share your files and content. You will implement a website and content management system. You need to begin collecting customer information and implement tools to begin communicating with customers. As the company moves into the Growth Stage, your martech stack should include technologies that help you build your business. A marketing automation system, a sales outreach program and software that helps you optimize the buying process. In the Expand stage, you are working to build and expand relationships with customers. Your martech stack should incorporate systems to enable account-based processes. During the Mature Stage, you are perfecting customer data that is stored throughout multiple systems. Your martech stack should help you leverage your customer data and provide the reporting you need to make informed decisions. There are a lot of marketing technology systems out there.
