Deep in the Montana wilderness lies a large zone of high quartz concentration. Floater crystals are easy to locate, and though large, they often lack luster, sharp points and clarity, which is why finding a pocket of well-preserved crystals in the pegmatite is such a rare and wonderful gift, and this one was no slouch, either. Sit back and enjoy the crystal extraction of the best pocket of my life, which yielded two crystals that landed in my top five of all time. And stayed vigilant for part two, for which I saved the best crystals.
