The Gospel
The Gospel is the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and it’s something I want to share with you. It begins with an important truth: all of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). Because of that sin, we are separated from God, and the result is eternal death. But here’s the good news: "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). God loves us so much that He made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for our sins. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). This incredible sacrifice fulfills God’s promise that "with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Through Jesus, we can be restored to God. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). Salvation isn’t something we earn—it’s a gift from God. The Bible tells us, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). To receive this gift, you need to believe and trust in Jesus. The Bible says, "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9). It’s about repentance, turning away from sin, and putting your faith in Him. As Peter said, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38). This message is for you, for me, for everyone. The Bible assures us, "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). Jesus promises eternal life to those who believe in Him: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). And this isn’t just about escaping judgment—it’s an invitation to a life of peace and joy in God’s presence. One day, "the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father" (Matthew 13:43) This is what the Gospel offers you: forgiveness, a restored relationship with God, and eternal life. Jesus invites you to follow Him, turn from sin, and share this message with others. He said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19). This is the good news—God’s love and grace, offered to you freely. Will you receive it?
