For large virtual productions, timecode synchronization is crucial. Atomos’ UltraSync system ensures precise wireless timecode across all cameras, audio recorders, and most importantly on this virtual production, the LED wall. The UltraSyncs lock to the master timecode source, keeping every camera in perfect sync.
AirGlu™ is UltraSync technology integrated into Atomos monitor-recorders, including the Atomos Connect module for Ninja and Ninja Ultra, Shogun, and Shogun Ultra. For this project, undertaken for media agency WPP, three Shogun Ultras were attached to a mixture of Canon C500 MkII and C70s for the accompanying interviews and behind the scenes footage.
