The Kinect Does NOT Capture Ghosts

Many paranormal enthusiasts believe the Kinect is capable of detecting ghosts. This idea is supported by hundreds of videos showing random stick figures appearing on screen. The assumption is that these random stick figures are ghosts or other entities, despite having no data to support that particular hypothesis. In 2017 I wrote an article (link is below) that took a closer look at how the Kinect operates and the most likely reason why these random stick figures are appearing. This video is meant to show a few examples of how the Kinect can mistake objects for players and assigning stick figures to them. It's by no means rigorous scientific testing of a "haunted" house versus non-haunted house (I don't know how one would verify that). These are practical examples filmed in my own home and demonstrate some points pretty well. Feel free to do your own testing...duplicate what I've done and share your results here. I plan on taking this to other locations and attempt to duplicate the results. I'm also interested in seeing what else might confuse the Kinect into thinking there is a body before it.
