Every massive machine, water purifier, and vehicle is powered by ancient, unstable nuclear reactors. • The most valuable currency and treasure is the glowing Uranium Fuel Rod. Whoever controls the uranium controls life itself. • Radiation here is not a weapon, but a harsh reality of everyday life. The old machines leak, so the people of the desert try to survive the "invisible fire" wearing welding goggles, lead cloaks, and gas masks. The Enemy: The Corporate Tyrants The world's remaining resources (clean water and uranium) are controlled by massive, faceless "Corporations." They live in gigantic concrete and steel fortresses (like Cistern-City), hoarding everything from the people of the wasteland. Their army doesn't consist of humans, but of ruthless, metal-and-wire robot soldiers and drones. To them, human life holds no value; only the machine and the profit matter. The Heroes: The Crew of the Outlaw Frontier The only hope for the desert people is a crew of radiation-scarred, outcast "cyborg-pirates." Though their appearance might be terrifying, they are the noble Wasteland Guardians. They don't pillage; they liberate. Their ultimate goal is to breach the Corporate fortresses, seize the water and fuel rods, and distribute them among the dying desert villages. The Machine: The Rusted Land-Galleon The pirates' flagship is a gigantic, track-driven mobile fortress. • Appearance: Part ancient warship, part locomotive, and part tank. It is covered in thick, rusted iron armor. • The Bow: A massive, welded metal skull decorates the front of the vehicle, its eyes flickering with a menacing red glow in the dust storms. • Operation: Thick black smoke and orange flames billow from its exhaust pipes, while a roaring, ancient nuclear reactor in its belly provides the power. When it appears on the horizon, the Corporations tremble, and the people breathe a sigh of relief.
