Army medic Shad Meshed returned from active duty in Vietnam to see that many of his fellow veterans were living on the street and were unaware or unable to apply for the benefits they needed. Since then he has dedicated his life to fighting for his fellow warriors. He’s mad as hell and working one veteran at a time to reduce their homelessness and to help them to work within the overtaxed system. His National Veteran Foundation is toiling tirelessly to reduce veteran homelessness and get former soldiers the benefits and help they need to get them back to living productive and meaningful lives.
