The Mighty Hand

1 Peter 5:6-11 ~ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Humble yourself beneath His hand The weight of mercy, the Maker’s plan In time He lifts, in time He raises Through quiet nights and hidden phases Lay every burden at His feet Every worry, and defeat He holds the tears you never show Closer than you even know You are not alone in the fight Others walk this road tonight Cast it all, let it fall He is faithful through it all In the fire, in the rain He will lift you up again Stand your ground, don’t give in There is power deep within Through the storm, through the flame You are held in Jesus' name Stay awake, keep watch, and stand strong. There’s a battle raging all around. Like a lion, dark and menacing, it looms near, but you don’t have to fear. Hold the line, don’t let go. Faith is stronger than you know. Every trial and scar you’ve endured has shown you just how securely you’re held Every wound will bear witness. Grace is working deep within. Cast it all, let it fall. He is faithful through it all. In the fire and the rain, He will lift you up again. Stand your ground, don’t give in. There’s power deep within. Through the storm and flame, you are held in Jesus' name. He will plant your feet on solid ground. You will stand, and you won’t be alone. Perfect, settled, firm, and true, all His grace carries you. To the God of endless grace… To the One who called your name… Cast it all, let it fall. He is sovereign over all. Through the night and pain, you will rise and stand again. All the glory, all the reign. Now forever, He will reign. Lion roars, but God remains. King of kings, forever reigns. To Him be the glory. Dominion and praise. Forever and ever, through all of our days. Amen… Amen.
