It introduces the "Wall Break" feature, which allows for stage transitions when a combo is initiated in the corner of the arena. Guilty Gear Strive was released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows on June 11, 2021. It was also distributed via Sega to Japanese arcades on July 29, 2021. "Limited Edition" and "Ultimate Edition" editions were made available for pre-order; console players who get the latter received early access to the full game on June 8, 2021. Street Fighter 6 is the sixth numbered fighting game in Capcom's Street Fighter series. It was released on June 2nd, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X, with an arcade version later in the year. The new characters are the drunken boxer Jamie, the judoka Manon, the pankratiast Marisa, the Bushin-ryuu student Kimberly, Lily of the Thunderfoot tribe, and the Psycho Power-wielding JP. The game is split into three modes: World Tour is a lengthy single player mode where you create an avatar character and learn techniques from the masters. Battle Hub is a giant video arcade where you can challenge other players online. Fighting Ground has the traditional fighting game modes such as arcade, versus, training, tutorials, and trials. Ultra Street Fighter IV is the follow up to Capcom's 2011 release Super Street Fighter IV AE and its v2012 update. Ultra Street Fighter IV keeps the same general gameplay as previous versions of Street Fighter IV with new balance changes, 5 new characters, and 6 new stages. DNF Duel is a fighting video game co-developed by Arc System Works, Eighting and Neople, and published by Nexon. It is a spin-off of the Dungeon & Fighter series and it was released for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on 28 June 2022. A Nintendo Switch port was released on 20 April 2023. Gameplay is similar to other fighting games developed by Arc System Works but with more simplified mechanics. Like some previous games, the game features simplified inputs to allow new players to be able to get into the game without being put off by complicated controls. One big difference in this game is the use of an MP bar that is used to activate certain attacks, called "skills" in the game, similar to the main series games and other RPGs. Though the bar disappears after each use of a skill, it slowly regenerates over time, unlike the use of special meters found in other fighting games. Skullgirls is a 2D fighting game developed by Reverge Labs and published by Autumn Games. In Skullgirls, players fight each other with teams of one, two, or three characters, attempting to knock out their opponents or have the most cumulative health when time runs out. The setting of the game revolves around the "Skull Heart", an artifact which grants wishes for women. If a wisher with an impure soul uses the Skull Heart, she is transformed into a monster known as the "Skullgirl". The game was first released through the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in April 2012, and received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the animation and gameplay mechanics, while criticizing its initial roster size and online multiplayer features.
