The Newton Method -- Weak regularity and Superlinear Convergence

In this video, we weaken the regularity assumptions in Newton’s method by assuming only that the function is continuously differentiable (i.e., of class C1). We show that, if the other assumptions remain intact, the Newton iteration converges superlinearly.
