Fun Fact: The character of Johnny in the 1983 movie adaptation was played by Ralph Macchio when he was 21 years old. Ralph Macchio starred in the 1980s Karate Kid cult movie classics. He is also in Netflix's super popular, Cobra Kai, as Daniel LaRusso, the same character he portrayed in Karate Kid. He is now in his 60's.
