This is a description of the Perfect Programming Process - how to go from having an idea of what should happen in a program, to writing the code that actually does that. This video merely describes the overall process - watch the example projects for specifics! The Perfect Programming Process is intended to help you grow as a programmer, and learn how to handle larger projects than tutorials and textbook exercises. If you have ever been stuck in "tutorial hell", this is the way out. It is a long video, so prepare a beverage first, and take breaks - ideally between chapters. Subtitles are available in English and Danish. Chapters: 00:00 - Introduction 01:25 - Richard Feynman and the Problem Solving Algorithm 04:08 - Everyone has a process 07:10 - The Perfect Programming Process 07:31 - Step 1: understand the problem 11:13 - Step 2: understand the solution 16:33 - Step 3: make a plan 20:46 - Step 4: know what you know 24:21 - Step 5: begin with the end 26:43 - Step 6: pretend you know it all 28:58 - Step 7: fill in the blanks 30:05 - Step 8: fake it till you make it 33:09 - an iterative and recursive process 35:12 - It is the process for YOUR Programming! 39:02 - Links to demonstrations The process done poorly: https://youtu.be/52ia2C0XyRM The process done right: https://youtu.be/ertvnBmwPTY If you haven't yet watched my introduction to this channel, and want to know more about my motivations for making all this, check out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9xUDkfT1vQ
