The Pink Thing was developed by Graham White in the 1980s as a fly for the Northern Australian saltwater barramundi fishery. It has proven itself over and over as a fish catcher. I've tied this one on a 2/0 but you can tie this pattern as small or as large as you like, depending on your target of the day. There are a number of ways to tie it, as well as a number of variations. This is just one way. Variations like the Black and Barred are especially good in dirty water.
