The Portrait is about the data twin — the version of you that exists in databases, algorithms, and AI models, built from your clicks, purchases, location history, search queries, behavioral patterns, biometrics, and everything else you've ever fed into the system. The song's central claim is that this digital version of you has become more real — more permanent, more predictable, more legible to the systems that run modern life — than the actual you.
