I am heading with joy to the promised plains
Leaving behind obstacles and chains
Valleys of shadows and shaky hills
Darkness of fears and coolness of chills
The old earth is slowly dying
Aloof a crossing bridge yet lying
Although it is an unstable path
It has no rage and has no wrath
At its end a portal is standing in place
Allowing passage to an open space
Where is the new earth's serenity and peace
Hovering on the plains of beauty and bliss
