Sadly, they had to amputate his left arm. After being introduced to Johns Hopkins Applied Physics lab, he qualified for a cutting-edge biotechnology study seeking an amputee or amputees to test a new robot arm - said to be the most technologically advanced robotic arm in the world. Johnny can control his new arm with his mind, giving him a level of motor control impossible until now. In this interview, we follow Johnny's journey from his illness to becoming the real bionic man.
