The River Again Pt. 2
The SUV rolls through the industrial district, tires humming against cracked pavement. Inside, the air is thick not with shouting, not with threats just that quiet, suffocating pressure that settles on a man when he realizes he’s running out of time. The suspect still isn’t taking it seriously. Still mouthing off. Still pretending he’s got leverage. So you shift your weight in the back seat, lean in close, and let him see the tool in your hand. Nothing flashy. Nothing dramatic. Just something simple — something that says this is the part where the talking stops. He laughs at first. Nervous. Fake. Then the SUV hits a bump, and the laughter dies. There’s a sharp sound not loud, but final. A gasp. A choked cry. And then silence except for his breathing, ragged and uneven. You don’t describe what happened. You don’t need to. The stain on his shirt, the way he curls in on himself, the way his voice breaks when he tries to speak — that tells the whole story. “Now,” you say, calm as ever, “do you understand where we’re going?” He nods, trembling. But even in pain, even with panic rising in his throat, he still holds back the one thing you need. The SUV slows as the River comes into view that dark stretch of water where the city forgets things. The place where the stories come from. The place rookies aren’t allowed to even talk about. You drag him out of the back seat. He stumbles, half from fear, half from the shock setting in. The cold wind off the water hits him like a slap. “Last chance,” you tell him. He hesitates. Still clinging to whatever loyalty or fear kept him quiet this long. So you push him forward not under, not yet just enough for the water to swallow his legs, then his waist, then his chest. The cold steals his breath. The current pulls at him. His panic finally breaks through whatever bravado he had left. He’s drowning in pain, in fear, in the River itself… And still, unbelievably, he’s holding out. Which means the night isn’t over. Not for him. Not for you. Not for the secrets he’s still trying to die with. #gta #ps4 #rpcommunity #ps5 #police #fivemrp #gtaroleplay
