Made in 1956. Demonstrates the shearing of sheep using mechanical shears. Old blad3 shears are compared with modern mechanical shears and both are seen in operation. A shearing table is examined, demonstrating the ease and comfort of a shearer using the table. Demonstrates the operation of a chain system of shearing in which a number of tables move around in a circle, each shearer working on a particular part of the sheep.
