The Sims 2 Multi-Level Basement Tutorial

Creating Deeper Basements: As you probably know, when you create a single-level basement, the top of it will be four units above groundlevel. The basement in this tutorial is two-levels deep, and so the top of it sticks above the ground 8 units. The deeper your basement is, the higher it will stick above the ground. Unfortunately this is a limitation of the game and cannot be helped. For a two-level basement, at the beginning of the tutorial you used the connecting stairs 6 times to dig the hole. For a three-level basement, you must use the stairs 9 times. For each additional level, you must use the stairs an extra 3 times. Apart from those important points, the method used to create the multilevel basement remains pretty much the same.
