The Statechart Workbench
Imagine you inherited a legacy software system. You are asked to add some new features, and in the meanwhile, improve the performance. However, the documentation left by your predecessor is incomplete and outdated. You have little information on how the software behaves, how it is used, and where to start. You cannot just start by looking at the source code; the legacy system is too large, and it would require too much time. That is why the Statechart Workbench looks at the actual executions of your software system, to see what’s really important. Through a rich and mature integration of advanced analysis techniques, you quickly get detailed insight into the behavior, operation, and usage of your software system. The Statechart Workbench is available in ProM, and integrates with the SAW Eclipse plugin to link results back to the underlying source code. - ProM plugin: Statechart - Manual: https://svn.win.tue.nl/repos/prom/Documentation/Statechart/Statechart-UserManual.pdf - Created by: Maikel Leemans ([email protected]) - ProM release: http://www.promtools.org/ - Statechart ProM plugin: https://svn.win.tue.nl/repos/prom/Packages/Statechart/ - SAW Eclipse plugin: https://svn.win.tue.nl/repos/prom/XPort/
