The Tech Challenge 2019: No Roads. No Problem!

Thousands of students from across Northern California and beyond participate in the 32nd annual Tech Challenge, presented by Dell. The Tech Challenge is a signature program of The Tech Interactive that invites teams of students in grades 4–12 to use engineering design to solve a real-world problem. It reinforces 21st century skills including creativity, problem solving, design, teamwork, leadership, risk-taking, perseverance and learning from failure. The 2019 challenge asked teams to build a hovercraft to cross different terrain. Students traveled from as far away as Canada and Colorado to participate in the event March 30 and 31.
