In nature especially in California lot of trees deadwood is infested by termites . They do a great job but we don’t want them on our bonsai ...... Is the case of this juniper that till have some inside before the work. It can be bad for the tree when they dig so much the hardwood just leaving a thin layer of cambium . Live vein can be weak and part of the tree can die. Before working this tree I take care of them with a good product . Thank you termites but now is my time to play some magic on this juniper.....
