The three hat problem with explanation. Imagine you are one of three people up for a job. As a test of logic, secretly a red or green hat is placed on each head. You can see the colour of the others hats and they are both green. You cannot see your own. Everyone is asked to raise a hand if they can see a green hat. All three raise. Everyone is asked what colour hat they are wearing and when the others don't answer you say your hat is green. How do you know?
