The treatment

#pernondimenticare "The Treatment", the original Italian title being "La Cura", is a short fiction film I wrote in 2002, during a short stay in Milan... in between jobs and places as usual. At that time I had a dentist who used to talk and talk and talk while working on my teeth. Sometimes he would even ask me questions I obviously could not answer. It was one of the most awkward situations I ever experienced. So I thought, how could I work on it and transform this "setting" in something "universal", something everybody could relate to? Well, I realized that the whole plot had to play around a simple fact: one guy is in total power while the other one cannot move at all. But what is really behind this psychological, and physical torture? "The Treatment", is what I came up with.
