I invented a specialized kick drum microphone that uses physical modeling to provide a fool-proof great kick sound every time, without the hassles and wasted time that often accompany traditional mic'ing. The kick output is broadband, letting you easily sculpt the tone to match pretty much any popular kick sound. I believe the potential market for this product is huge, but I'm too old to start another audio business. I'm hoping to find an existing company that will license this microphone from me.
