The ULTIMATE RUSH Chord Lesson!!
In my opinion one of the most important elements of Rush’s music is Alex Lifeson’s chord voicings. I think Alex is super underrated as a guitarist, and he’s often overlooked because Geddy and Neil were so great. One of the main reasons Rush’s music sounds so huge as a trio is because of the Alex’s chord work. The 'Alex Lifeson' chord is actually an F#7(add11), or a F#11. It can't technically be a suspended chord because of the presence of the 3rd. Same thing is true of the Bsus, it's a Badd11. These corrections will be made in the PDF as well!
