The Very Ugly Bug

Congratulations to Andrew, my 6 year old, who learned this story, The Very Ugly Bug by Liz Pichon, in just a few quick days to share at a youth audition for the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. Andrew had prepared a different story for his school's storytelling competition and received perfect marks by the judges for his other story. However, while his Mom and Dad were aware of a maximum time limit, they didn't realize there was a minimum time limit, and Andrew's story was too short to qualify him to move on through the competition from the school. His principal was so impressed by how cute and animated he was with his other story that she recommended he learn a different one and try to audition independent from the school. So this is what led Andrew to share this second story. Congrats Andrew for an amazing job!
