The Wellspring
Brothers and sisters, I invite you to join me at "The Wellspring." I've been spending a lot of time lately thinking about how dry our spiritual lives can get when we just go through the motions, coming to the feast with hurried feet and leaving with our spirits completely parched. It’s a very human struggle, isn't it? We look at the font, we see the bread, but without taking the time to really let the Spirit's fire descend, it's just sacred stone and empty rituals. This video is a meditation on that deep, living water that Christ offers freely. A reaching out for that clear, deep water where ancient wisdom dwells. Just taking a moment to breathe. It's my hope that as we listen, we can find a moment of stillness—a chance to feel the cool, restoring rush of grace washing over the dust of our daily routines, moving beyond the stark, plain letters of the text so our souls might actually be mended. Here are a few moments to guide our shared reflection: [00:23] A prayer to Christ our light, seeking the clear, deep waters where true wisdom dwells. [01:28] Finding a profound, sacramental grace when we take the time to truly immerse our minds in the word. [02:50] An honest look at the dry, desert times when our hearts grow cold and we neglect the living stream for hurried obligations. [04:30] A renewed call to approach the living water with sincere steps and open eyes. [05:21] A closing hope, praying for the Holy Spirit to flow and fill our hearts until we drink from heaven's pure stream. May your eyes be opened wide to see the wellspring deep inside.
