Wait, was Chainsaw Man's ending REALLY that bad? Now that the Chainsaw Man manga is finally over, everyone seems to have a very strong opinion about the ending - and most of those opinions are pretty harsh! The biggest critique, which became a pretty hilarious meme, is that the story was all thrown away for 'themes and such'. Is that really true? Did Fujimoto fumble the success of the CSM anime and the recent Reze movie by torpedoing the manga into a rushed ending with no substance? OR were the 'themes and such' actually present the since the very beginning?
