Thermite on a Running Engine

We ignite thermite, which reacts at roughly 5400 degrees Fahrenheit, on top of a running engine that should melt at approximately 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermite was launched by the pressurized gas produced by the oil, heated by the thermite and running engine. The molten iron heated the JB weld that held the bottle cap in place, (the bottle cap was my solution to sealing the crankcase), and the JB weld subsequently failed. For some reason, the crankcase pressure relief system failed to keep the pressure down adequately. I have several theories, but not definite answer to this pressure build-up. The molten iron was believed to have been launched over twenty feet into the air. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE
