An indie-folk ballad I wrote that is based on a few frustrated-sad freeform verses I had written a long time ago (circa 90s) after having found, and lost, love in the midst of a chaotic time in my corporate career. The words I use in the song are softer now, tempered by the passage of time. I may be a lot older now, but the dream of a simple life with a family I can call my own still survives and persists.
