Think Before You Like! Algorithms Don't Understand Intention
Comment Below.. We’ve been trained to double-tap first and ask questions later. But when it comes to wildlife images, that habit has consequences. Social media algorithms don’t understand how an image was made — they only understand what performs. A dramatic photo can go viral whether it was created ethically… or not. And every like, share, and save quietly rewards the behavior behind it. In this video, I challenge you to think before you like: - What went into creating this image? - Was the animal baited, stressed, or manipulated? - Are we rewarding harmful practices without realizing it? This isn’t about attacking photographers or calling people out. It’s about slowing down, understanding context, and being more intentional with how we engage online — especially when wildlife is involved. Because once an image enters the algorithm, ethics are no longer part of the conversation — unless we make them part of it ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe for editing tips and behind-the-scenes videos, as well as community contests and free giveaways: http://www.patreon.com/WildlifeInspired ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Workshop and Photo Tour Information at: http://www.wildlifeinspired.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Best noise reduction and sharpening software: Topaz Labs: https://topazlabs.com/ref/351/ DxO PureRaw: https://www.dxo.com/dxo-pureraw/ (save more with coupon code "inspired") ------------------------------------------------------------------------- MT FAVORITE GEAR Nikon Z9: https://bhpho.to/3rM9O7A Nikon 400mm 2.8 Z: https://bhpho.to/3tj806y Nikon 105mm macro: https://bhpho.to/3NngzVI Laowa 180mm f/4.5 macro: https://bhpho.to/47AHwxP Laowa 25mm ultra macro: https://bhpho.to/3F405g7 Leofoto monopod: https://bit.ly/46xfQYE Leofoto 403 tripod: https://tinyurl.com/bdhkv4ey Robus Tripod: https://bhpho.to/46eAQn3 Promedia Gear Tomahawk (monopod gimbal): https://tinyurl.com/4vdkuy98 Promedia Katana Jr (tripod gimbal): https://tinyurl.com/yjtf4s4a Leofoto fluid head: https://bit.ly/3ZFtRB8 WeMacro Rail: https://www.wemacro.com/ (coupon code "wildlife20") AK Diffuser: https://akdiffuser.com/?wpam_id=30 (COUPON CODE skeys5)
