I tend to open my mouth not knowing what is going to come out of it. Like putting my big foot in it and upsetting someone. When typing something, I can at least put my thoughts into some kind of order, before I press the send button. Even then some mistakes can occur. I often take chances with communication, because you never know how the recipient is going to take it. If you fear offending someone you would never say anything. And so, people will draw their own conclusions about you, of which you have no control over.
