The Saab powered Toyota MR2 Mk2 is finally getting the upgrade it’s always needed… and things escalated quickly. In this episode I completely transform the car with a HUGE turbo setup, a custom tubular manifold, external wastegate and a screaming screamer pipe that sounds absolutely insane. To support it all, I fabricate pretty much everything from scratch including a custom intercooler setup, turbo housing and a full 3” stainless exhaust system built in the garage.
The goal? Build a budget Saab B204 swapped MR2 capable of embarrassing supercars and finally see if this thing has what it takes to chase down a Lamborghini Gallardo. After countless hours of fabrication, welding and problem solving, we finally get the chance to take the car out on the road and find out just how fast this homemade turbo setup really is… and the result genuinely surprised me.
