The Holy Spirit moves within us from the moment we are re-born and begins transforming us into the likeness of Christ from the inside out, driving darkness out of us one room at a time as we work with Him. This doesn’t happen instantly. Someone who is a drug addict on Saturday night and gets saved on Sunday morning is still a drug addict in their heart. Are they saved? Sure! Will God deliver them from drugs? Absolutely! Once they "Repent," meaning to turn away from and stop using... Submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
