I had more responses to my post last year on using the STAR framework for your next public speaking/presentation than anything I've ever written. And the comments keep coming. I went deeper into the framework and showed an example of how I used it to write a presentation in this webinar, which I then promptly forgot to share on YouTube, so here it is.
To recap, the STAR framework says that you need four elements in a good presentation:
STORY: to grab attention and stick in memory
THEME: an urgent point you're trying to make
AUDIENCE interaction: otherwise they're going to fall asleep
RESULT: or else, why are you wasting our time?
