Music by Thisquietarmy Video shot and edited by Eric Quach “Funiculaire” is the first single off Thisquietarmy’s upcoming cassette “Les estampes” to be released on Every day is Drone Day: May 25, 2024 via Bandcamp and on cassette via Coup sur Coup Records. The film was shot in Viana do Castelo (Portugal) in 2018 during a EU tour, edited as a video in 2024. The footage has been heavily used during my recent live post-pandemic solo performances in the past couple of years. “Les estampes” contains improvised soundscape sketches in limbo that were recorded in my jamspace during the pandemic. It was rushed to completion in 2024, in anticipation for my upcoming Eastern Canada (ON/QC) tour starting in early June w/ Drowse & Your Winters Are Like Summers, as well as my Western Canada (AB/BC) tour & my Canadian dates with @locrianofficial in July.
