Thorn stitch can be stitched in a straight line, or to follow a curve. In this video, I’ll demonstrate both methods.
Thorn stitch is an excellent option for decorative borders, vines, other plants, and as you can see here, it follows a curve quite well!

This stand is the Sonata Seat Stand from Hawthorn Handmade; I’m using all six strands of cotton embroidery floss; I used a white water-erasable pen to mark my guidelines; and this is a linen blend fabric.
