Let’s talk all my favorite thread brands, weights and materials. I feel like every quilter or sewer has a preference. I use a variety of products but it depends on what the use is. My all purpose every day sewing machine thread is Aurifil 50wt cotton in Dove Grey.
Just remember the thread weight number goes down as the thread gets thicker and the higher the number the thinner the thread.
