This video shows threading a singer 319k which takes 15X1 needles at the request of a YouTuber. If the machine still fails to sew check the needle height, loosen 1 screw at the front of the machine after taking off the face plate, and adjust it up or down so that it coincides with the hook. If that does not work, you might need to adjust your timing.
