Threading Guide for 5 Thread Overlock (Part 5/5) - ABC Sewing Machine

Check our website out http://abcsewingmachine.com/ Transcription: Ok, we’re doing the last one. This last one is for the 5 thread looper. Same thing, it’s gonna go up the bracket down into the frame. This one from here, it goes straight back behind the machine. It’s gonna go straight back down and there is one tube. So, you put it through the tube and out the other side. And from here, this long tube, it’s a little hard to put it in. What I do, I just use a piece of wire and I hook it at the end. So, I just put the wire inside, put the wire inside to the other side, hook the thread and pull it through. After it comes out right here, you wanna feed it onto this plate, this moving cover, so you got to make sure it goes inside, not out. That tube is right in there. So, this thread comes out and you have one little disc. From here, it goes from the back, right to left. Right goes inside, comes out, left side. And it goes underneath the disc, comes up and you put it right back through the hole. And then from here, it’s gonna go straight back, there is gonna be one hole on the right, one hole on the left. So, you put it in in to the right side and in between the bar that is in the middle. So, if you look at it from the side, it goes to the right hole in between. So, you wanna put it in between this little lever. So, put it in between and it comes out and you put it into that left hole. After the left hole, so it comes straight down, one more guide, one more guide, and then from here, it goes straight in to the fit looper, which is that one right there, which is that one. So, this is the fifth looper, the lower looper, and the upper looper. So, it’s gonna go in to the looper that is in the front. This one it goes from back to front, back to front. So, put it back to front and from here, front to back. So, you’re just making a “U”. So, back to front, hold the thread out, front to back. Then after, same thing, you grab the thread and you pull all the thread to the left side. So, after you thread the machine and you wanna start sewing , make sure you have all the thread, close the cover, close the cover and then, you hold the thread and just turn the machine by hand. So, you turn the machine a couple of times just to make sure that the threads are catching. And that’s just about it. Let me go over one more time. From the fifth, the last thread stand, go up, comes down, from here straight down into the first pipe, comes out, second pipe. This pipe comes along, right there, inside, comes out from right to left, right to left, goes around and then left to right, comes right out this way. From here, go straight down, it’s gonna go right to left, so you have one hole, you put it inside the middle bar, out the third hole and then comes back, one hole, two holes and then straight to the looper. And that’s it!
