Three-dimensional fall detection system using monocular frames

In this work, carried out by Rafael Bustos in the framework of his Degree's final project, we build a robust fall detection device. Software-wise, we used monocular depth prediction and 2D pose estimation methods to reconstruct the environment and the pose of the person in 3D. Then, a rule-based system is in charge of classifying whether the person has fallen or not.
