Three Hinged Circular Arch - Problem No 1

A circular arched rib of 20 m span with central rise of 4 m is hinged at the crown and springings. It carries a point load of 100 KN at 5m from the left hand hinge. Calculate The horizontal thrust of the arch The reactions at the supports Bending Moment, Normal Thrust and Radial Shear at 7m from the left hinge The maximum positive and negative bending moment. Also draw the bending Moment Diagram
