I turned handles for a swan neck and rounded carbide scrapers. I then used these tools on the next two projects.
I made a carvers mallet using a maple core with quarter sawn walnut for faces. After lamination I turned it on my lathe using a roughing gouge, a skew, and my carbide scrapers.
I used my scroll saw to cut rings out of a walnut board, laminated the rings, and turned it on my lathe using the carbide scrapers. The resulting bowl from a board was quite nice.
