This diy woodworking project uses scrap wood projects and a scroll saw to bring the word art to life. Follow along to see how to make your own wood signs, complete with cutting out letters and assembly. I made the pattern in Inkscape with Cooper Black as the font. I stacked three pieces of 1/4 inch material and cut the words out and mixed the different woods to create three different outcomes. I used a dado blade to cut a groove in three bases and glued everything together. One base is cedar, one walnut and one mahogany.
