In this episode we begin building a Tic Tac Toe game from scratch using React and JavaScript. Instead of jumping straight into UI code. Episode 1 focuses on game initialization and turn control. We implement a starting player, enforce valid game setup, and ensure that only the current player can place a mark. After a valid move, the turn switches to the other player. Invalid moves are rejected without changing turns. You will also see how to structure a small project using separation between the game engine and the UI, making the logic easier to test and extend. By the end of this video you will have: A working 3×3 Tic Tac Toe board Proper starting player initialization Correct turn alternation between X and O Validation that prevents invalid moves Read-only access to the board state, current player, and game status This episode lays the foundation for the rest of the project, where we will add win detection, draw logic, and full game lifecycle management. #reactjs #javascriptprojects #tictactoe #learnprogramming #codingproject #softwaredesign #webdevelopment #reacttutorial
