Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) usually used for digital signal. TDM allows several connections to share the high bandwidth of a line. Each connection occupies a portion of time in the link. it has two main types one is synchronous TDM and second in statistical TDM. Both types has been discussed with help of diagram in detail with basic concept of TDM.
