Check out the collaborative project “Tiny Devils” created by local dance artist Ruby Eger and researcher/musician Glenn Sutter created on Anthropocene traps.
Anthropocene traps are traps we succumb to, unknowingly, that prevent us from living sustainably. Researchers have only recently discovered that it can be challenging for people to live sustainably because of social, economic, and cultural traps that are systemic and often invisible. Ruby and Glenn have worked together and found an inspiring and engaging way to bring this idea to life, drawing parallels with some of the hurdles and pitfalls that we as people in society often fall into. Glenn’s song Tiny Devils was also used as inspiration and the title of this piece.
