Tiny Wires / "Chroma" (Ableton Live techno)

I still get overwhelmed by how much I have to learn to make music that lives up to my aspirations. But this one is the first track where I can say that it captures some of the mood I was going for, and that feels really nice. Made all in Ableton with Reason providing most of the synths. The pad during the breakdown that leads into the drop is my Fender Telecaster run through a Big Muff fuzz pedal and then paulstretched out to turn it into a wash of sound. This was my first time incorporating some actual recording into a track and it was a lot of fun. I shot the footage for the video on the tide pools at Salt Creek on the Olympic Peninsula. I wanted to shoot slow-motion, but the 5D Mark III doesn't get very high res at 60 FPS. My compromise was to shoot everything rotated 90 degrees. Then I mirrored everything in Premiere.
